Freddie Lee Williamson, a cherished son, devoted husband, and beloved father, was born on September 11, 1962, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Mr. Pollard and Dorothy Williamson. Raised in a nurturing environment, Freddie embraced his education through the Duval County Public School System, blossoming into a man of profound faith, generosity, and an unwavering love for life.
For many years, Freddie dedicated himself to the open road as a semi-truck driver until he retired, bringing a sense of adventure and responsibility to his work. Known for his gentle nature, he found joy in life's simple pleasures—whether it was watching movies at home, riding his bike through the neighborhood, or embarking on countless road trips that created joyful memories with loved ones. Faith was a cornerstone of his life, and in quiet moments, he turned to his Bible, which provided him comfort and strength.
Fifteen years ago, Freddie married the love of his life, Angela Johnson. Together, they built a loving home filled with laughter, shared adventures, and unwavering support for one another. Their bond was a testament to the power of love and partnership.
Freddie leaves behind a rich legacy of love and compassion that will forever be cherished. He is survived by his devoted wife, Angela Williamson; his daughters, Sherena Turner (Trouvaris) and Sherese Williams (Razhee); and his adored grandchildren, Ayanna Turner, Kamari Turner, Kyra Richardson, Mai’lani Martin, and Razlen Williams. He will also be missed by his sister, Jacqueline Williamson; his niece, De’Shawn Williamson; and nephew, Darius Williamson. Freddie was blessed with a loving mother-in-law, Lillian Johnson, a caring brother-in-law, Cecil Johnson, and a special cousin and brother in spirit, LeRoy Jackson. Along with these close relations, he also leaves behind a host of relatives and dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Freddie's presence was a true gift to all who knew him. His memory will live on through the countless lives he touched, continuing to inspire love, kindness, and generosity in all. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered as a shining light in our lives.
