Freddie Lee King was born September 1, 1941 to the late Freddie Graham and Georgia Mae Smith in Jacksonville, Florida. He was the fourth child of 10 children and attended the local public schools in Duval County. Freddie married Peggy Davis on September 10, 2005 and from that day she was affectionately known to him as "BABE". He was employed by J.B. Coxwell where he retired in 2013 after 10 years of dedicated service. Although Freddie was a faithful member of the Jacksonville Masjid of Al-Islam on Commonwealth Avenue where he lived his life according to the Islamic principles. All that knew Freddie knew that he loved his family and he loved his religion and he carried a loving spirit that touched everyone he encountered. On November 13, 2015, Freddie departed this life to rest in the Lord. He is predeceased by his loving parents: Freddie Graham and Georgia Mae Smith; Daughter: Patricia Mitchell, three brothers: Clifford James, George Shine King, and Ronald King, Sisters: Colista Penny King and Betty Graham; Aunt Josephine Nelson, and Great Uncle George Nelson Jr. His memories will always be cherished by his wife Peggy King. Stepdaughters; Shawn Wright, Meleea Caster, and Robin (Robert) Royal; Stepson: John Wright; Granddaughters: Carletha Anderson and Lawanda Mitchell; Brother; Lilton (Vivian) Williams, Sisters: Lillian Thomas, Claudette (Cary) Grant, Beverly Scott, and Hazel (Robert) Anderson; a host of nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grandnieces and many devoted friends.
