Frank Humphrey

Frank D. Humphrey, Sr. of Hilliard, Florida went on to be with the Lord on August 1, 2017. Frank was born to the late Elvie Humphries and Mary Brooks on July 4, 1937. On September 14, 1955, Frank Humphrey was united in Holy Matrimony to Mary Lou Ross and to this union seven children were born. He was a member of Hisbon Baptist Church. Frank had a long work history and retired from the Jacksonville Shipyard. Frank D. Humphrey, Sr. was preceded in death by three brothers, Elvie Humphries, Jr., Jim Johnson and David Eleby; four sisters, Mary Lee James, Essie Mae Durham, Maphine Mack; two sons, Richard C. Humphrey, Keith Mitchell; one grandson, Donald J. Humphrey, Jr. and great grandson, Zyon F. Miney. Frank, Sr. leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife, Mary Lou Ross Humphrey; sons, Frank Humphrey, Jr. (Doretha), Donald Humphrey (Betty), Ronald Humphrey and Quincy Mitchell; daughters, Sandra Moore, Melanie Thompson and Katrina Jackson; daughter-in-law, Nannie Mae Mitchell; sister, Ethel Stafford; sister-in-law, Mozelle Eleby; twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, many loving friends and special friends, Mary Williams and Marvin Roberson.
