Fostena Harris Obituary Mrs. Fostena Harris (AKA 'Thompson') was born July 1, 1945 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Foster Harris and Artie Mae Harris. She was the second oldest amongst 7 children. She married in 1965 the late James Thompson. She was the mother of two daughters. She attended Stanton High School. Mrs. Harris received salvation on October 26, 2008 at the Household of Faith Church. She loved to crack jokes and loved to dance. She was an awesome spades player, which she taught all her grandchildren, and some great grands how to play. She also loved to play solitaire, which you would find her playing on a daily basis, all day in her room. She also loved to knit. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by husband James Thompson, her mother (Artie Mae Harris), father (Foster Harris), brother Benjamin Harris, granddaughter (Shawnacey Harris). She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters (Saketa Harris, Marva Harris), three sisters (Lavon, Artie Rose, Juanita), two brothers (Leon, George), four stepdaughters (Cathy, Jennie, Darlene, Carolyn), (6) grandchildren (Travis, Lovette, Samaiyah, Cedric, Corbin, Darrius), (25) great grandchildren, (17) great great grandchildren, and a host of other nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
