Eugene Griffin Jr. Obituary Mr .Eugene Griffin Jr. was born on September 24, 1936 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Eugene Sr. and Dorothy Mae Griffin. He passed away on July 30, 2018 after an extended illness. He attended the public schools of Duval County. He was employed by Berman Bros. for a number of years and was a lifetime resident of Jacksonville, Florida. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tangelitha Griffin and brothers David, Henry, Billie and Nathanial. He leaves to cherish his memories, his long time companion Betty Ross; his son, Eugene Griffin III; daughter, Druketta Ross; Grandsons, Photai, Nick, Jakeeco, Joshua and B.J.; Granddaughters, Monique, Ceteria, Cureena and Geoice; Greatgrands, Zion, Leo Jr., Jordan, Nautica, Malcolm Jr, Johnny, Ziana, Kendrick, Noodle, Gabby, Josh Jr., Jakeeco Jr., Quval, Carlie and Liyah. Sisters, Mary Fryer, Martha Love, Rosetta Murray, Sabrina Sims, Carolyn Jones, along with a host of siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
