David Gillette, Sr. Obituary David Alexander Gillette Sr. was born on March 29, 1962 in Montego Bay, Jamaica to the late Harold Gillette and Jemoline Gillette. He attended Albion Elementary School and he was a auto mechanic apprentice under his fathers tutelage at Montego Bay Secondary School. He was an active member of Kings Chapel Church for 17 years in Montego Bay Jamaica, where he was actively involved in the music ministry. David met his first wife and close friend Pauline Gillette Salmon at Kings Chapel. They were married and had three children. Kadia Gillette Germain(Henley) , Sherrae Gillette and David Gillette Jr. David and his family immigrated to the United States of America and lived in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Where they become active members of Good Samaritan Church in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He later relocated to Savannah , Georgia and met and married Maria Capers on July 29, 2017. He was employed by Professional Transportation Inc. for over 10 years. David created a prayer group and called it the P.U.S.H. (Pray Until Something Happens).Network on the platform WhatsApp. Which the members from various places from England, Jamaica and the U.S. meet and pray. He loved praying for people and ushering them to Christ. He enjoyed driving the country side of America and he has driven through every state of America except Hawaii. He enjoyed playing tennis, bicycle rides and music. Andrae Crouch being his favorite artist. David was survived by his spouse Maria his mother Jemoline Gillette, his three children Kadia(Henley) , Sharrae, and David Jr. His sister Vannie Gillette, Pauline Gillette Waters (Anthony), Janet Gillette, Melissa Gillette Davila(Guerellmo) his brother Winston Gillette and sister Janise Gillette. His five granddaughters Emanie and Karena Silencieux, Mollie, Zoe and Khole Germain. Five step-children and their nine children a whole host of nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
