Corene Spatcher

Corene F. Spatcher was born June 24, 1927 to Charles Fauntleroy and Virgie Taylor Fauntleroy in Hampton, Virginia. She passed after a long illness on Wednesday morning December 7, 2011. She was educated in the public school system of Hampton, Virginia; and soon after graduating moved to New York City. After many years of living in New York, she returned to Hampton and eventually retired as a Nursing Assistant from the VA Hospital in Hampton, VA. She was preceded in death by two husband's; the first was Arthur Wright whom she married while living in New York City. She was also married to Ralph Spatcher whom she met here in Jacksonville, FL. She was also preceded in death by her first born son, Arthur Wright, Jr. and all of her siblings. Her brothers Clarence T. Fauntleroy, Taylor Fauntleroy (Thelma), William Fauntleroy (Mary), and Solomon Fauntleroy (Jean); sisters Cornelia F. Satchell (Horace), Elva F. McNair (William), Rebecca F. Pettway (John), Mary F. Boxwell, and Gertrude F. McNeil (Arguster). Her memories will be cherished by four sons; Edward Wright, Stanley Wright, Russell Wright and Charles F. Porter (Maria). One daughter, Roxanne W. Harding (Anthony) and four daughter-in-laws, Jane Wright, Odia Wright, Marilyn Wright and Eutruler Wright. Grandchildren; Celina W. Butler (Mark), Tina Wright, Tarah Wright, Sarah Wright, Kenya W. Nichols (Leslie), Corrie W. Williams, Arthur D. Wright, Stanleigh J. Wright, Curtis Moore, Jimmy Cook, Timothy Wright, Brian Wright, Joshua Wright, Marcus Wright, Russell Wright, Jr., Andrew Dunn, Anthony Harding II, Arthur J. Harding, Cedric Harding, Erica Harding, Charles Mari Porter and Maria Anissa Porter. And a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a large extended group of additional family and friends.
