Brister Addison, Sr

ADDISON, SR. - Mr. Brister Addison, Sr. was born to the late Brister and Mae Bell Addison on Jan. 24, 1922. He was baptized at an early age at Mt. Hope Miss. Bapt. Church , Martin, SC. He later relocated to Baldwin, FL and became a member of St. Paul Miss. Bapt. Church. There he served until he was called home under the leadership of his pastor, Rev. Eugene Williams. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Daisy Lee Addison. He is survived by seven children, Annie Lou Smalls(Beaufort, SC), Rev. Willie (Corine) Addison, Sr.(Jacksonville, FL), Brister (Sharon)Addison, Jr.(Live Oak, FL), Robert (Karen) Addison, Sr.(Tampa, FL), Johnnie (Rosa) Addison, Sr.(Baldwin, FL), Rena (Joe) Cohen,(Palm Bay, FL) and Lawrence (Joyce) Addison(Jacksonville, FL); sisters, Fannie Mae Badger and Beaulah Franklin(Martin, SC); a host of other family and sorrowing friends.
