Betty Stewart

Ms. Betty R. Stewart was born on November 22, 1933, in Sandersville, GA, to Allener Perry-Wilcher and Charlie Wilcher. After she graduated high school, she met and married Ceaser Stewart Sr. She then continued her education and graduated from Florida State College at Jacksonville. She was an active member of St. Paul A.M.E., where she served for many years.

Betty is survived by, children: Elizabeth “Libbye” Denson, Deborah Bell, Ceaser Stewart Jr., Dawnaye Tucker, Monae Stewart; grandchildren: Brian Bell, Leta Washington, Wayne Bell, Wiley Darden, Jay Denson (Maisha), Shawn Darden, Dawnesha Bolton-Brown, Monique Stewart; sister: Allener Smith; brother: Albert Wilcher; and a host of other family members and friends.
