Augustus Denson

DENSON, JR. - Mr. Augustus Lorenzo, was born Jan. 14, 1948 in Jacksonville, FL to Augustus and Malissa Denson. He attended Duval County Public Schoos and graduated from Douglas Anderson. He was in the U.S. Army for over 20 years of service. He was well known in his community for lending a helping hand and providing fish. He is survived by Vallenna Ray(Leon), Vincent(Tasasha), Augustus III, Bernadette Denson, Sherrie Jackson(Reyes), Joseph Denson; goddaughter, Lindsey Price; sisters, Evelyn Woods, Madia Sheppard, Zina Ford(Darell); brothers, Abren, Victor(Rita), Theodotes(Janet); sister-in-law, Theresa Sullivan; brothers-in-law, Robert Lee and Alexander Brooks; aunts, Hanna Graham, Lucile Wilson, Sadie, Thomas, Alberta Spiller and Henrietta Walker; uncles, Ruben (Sylvia) and Nathaniel(Anita) Mobley; special friend, Ernest Johnson of Orlando; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and sorrowing friends.
