Audrey Carnegie-Throckmorton Obituary Ms. Audrey Denise Carnegie -Throckmorton was born June 28, 1969, in Quitman, Georgia to Woodrow Wilson Carnegie, Jr. and Ruby Lee Burns. Audrey was baptized and accepted Jesus Christ as her savior at an early age at Simmon Hill Missionary Baptist Church. At an early age, Audrey excelled in school. She was always top of her class. She attended Brooks County High School where she graduated in 1987. After high school, Audrey took her smarts and joined the United States Navy as a Data Systems Technician where she specialized in tactical, digital, and video systems. She later decided to get out and move closer to home where she worked side by side with her sister, Carla, for 20 years at C. L. Page Mortuary, Inc. She was the office manager for many years and the key person behind the C . L. Page Mortuary Monument Company. Audrey took much pride in every piece she created , each one was custom made and hand finished with her own hands. With that came a little blood , sweat and tears to match but she loved what she did . She loved experimenting with different materials to get a different look or a better outcome. Audreys work was always one of a kind and absolutely beautiful . Audrey enjoyed a little of everything, she was adventurous and free spirited. She enjoyed camping , hunting, fishing, playing cards , playing pool, art projects and just having a good old laugh. She had a laugh that was contagious and a smile that brightened up the room. Audrey loved music and Lil Wayne. She loved playing both as loud as she could when she drove, you always knew when shes coming before she got there. If you needed to get somewhere fast, Audrey was your girl. She would put her ball cap to the side, put her smokes in one side of her mouth and ride outfast. She really could have been a professional racecar driver the way she use to whip it. Audrey enjoyed family time telling jokes . She loved being under her big sister and spending time with her Scuba . He was her Scuba and she was his. She loved her family very much and it showed in everything she did . Audrey loved extremely hard and was truly a ride or die for life.
