Angelina Toliver Obituary Obituary of Angelina Ownes Toliver Angelina Ownes Toliver was born September 20, 1966 to the late Elijah Toliver, Jr. and Monise Ownes. Ann was reared and nurtured by her paternal grandparents, Elijah Toliver Sr. and the late Ruth Toliver, in Jacksonville, Florida from the age of birth to six years of age after which time she went to live with her parents. As a youth, she was raised in and attended school in several Florida cities, including Jacksonville, Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Daytona, before relocating to New York. While residing in New York, Ann competed in Baton Twirling competitions throughout the U.S. and won numerous awards. She later returned to Jacksonville where she enjoyed fishing. Ann was deceased on Monday, July 30, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father, Elijah Toliver, Jr.; paternal grandmother, Ruth I Toliver; maternal grandparents, _______________ ; paternal uncles, Joe Willie Toliver and Gerald Toliver; and maternal uncle, Ricky Butler. She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother Monise Ownes Kester; brother Jasper Toliver; paternal Grandfather, Elijah Toliver, Sr.; paternal uncles, Jimmy Toliver, Samuel Toliver (Linda), Charles Toliver (Shantone), Alphonso Toliver (Sonya), Boyce Toliver, and Aaron Toliver (Charlene); paternal aunts, Rutha Robinson and Evelyn Wyatt (Chris); maternal uncle, William Butler (Gail); maternal aunts, Barbara Ann (spouse ), Robin _________ (spouse); and a host of cousins.
