Mr Alvin Prioleau was born on December 4, 1921 in Cross, S.C. to Ida B. Brown and Joe B. Prioleau. He attended public schools there and went to work at various jobs as a young man. He moved to Jacksonville joined the CC Camp after that stint he worked various jobs until he went into business for himself until his retirement. He was a member of Simpson Memorial United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir for many years. He was a people person, well known for his kindness,upbeat spirit and the history of business/people along Kings Road and Myrtle Ave. Mr. Prioleau is predeceased by his parents, Ida and Joe Prioleau, sister Idean Prioleau Denson Coley and brother Dan Prioleau. He is survived by brothers Wayman, Calvin [Ina], Rudolph [Elsie] Prioleau and one sister Inell Prioleau Hodge. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and oh so many friends.
