Alaina Mathis Obituary Alaina Christine Mathis passed peacefully in the arms of family on July 31, 2018. She was born at 2:10 p.m. on July 18, 2018. Alaina was born to Benjamin Mathis and Coasa Thomas. She is survived by her loving parents, her grandparents Earnest Thomas, and Belinda Mathis. Aunts and uncles Breanna Mathis, Reva Sue, Corey Thomas, and Charles Smith. And godmother Jaleesa Bynum. Though our time with Alaina was short she was an angel that we got to love, and her love and spirit will be with us always. Her energy will never die it will forever transcend into us all.
