Aaron Parson

Mr. Aaron Parson was on May 2, 1925 in Lanes, South Carolina to Dora and Andrew, Sr. He attended and graduated from Tomlinson. He met and married Elouise Matthews. He was employed by A & P for 40 years of service. He was an active member of CME Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, James Parson, Susie Addison and Lucilla Nicholson. He was well known for being in the U. S. Army, gardening, faithful in the church, visiting with relatives and being well liked by his neighbors and the children of the neighborhood. He is survived by his wife, Elouise (Matthews) Parson; siblings, Minnie Johnson of Anderson, South Carolina; Andrew (Margo) Parson, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia and Mary McQueen of Anderson, South Carolina; Goddaughter, Shavone Gambrell of Anderson, South Carolina; special nephews, whom he helped raise, David and Jay Washington of Jacksonville, Florida and Elijah Washington of Wilmington, South Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
