Herbert Brunson

Mr. Herbert Brunson was born on September 24, 1948 to Nathaniel Brunson, Jr. and Geraldine Whitlock Brunson in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a graduate of New Stanton High School, Class of 1966, and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Brunson worked several years as a longshoreman and was well known by many friends. He passed away on June 20, 2017. Mr. Brunson was preceded in death by his father, Nathaniel Brunson, Jr., and his nephew, Harold Brunson, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Geraldine Brunson, six brothers, Harold Brunson, Sr. (Carolyn), Nathaniel Brunson, III, Cornell Brunson (Felecia), Dwayne Brunson, Terry Whitlock, and Ronald Brunson, Sr.; four sisters, Dianne Whitlock-Townsend, Felecia Brunson, Sabrina Brunson-Hartsfield (Leroy), and Janice Brunson; nineteen nieces and nephews, and a host of loving relatives and sorrowing friends. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, June 30, 2017 at First Timothy Baptist Church, 12103 Biscayne Blvd. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Mortuary.
