Mr. Gregory Drayton was born February 24,1957 to the late William Busch and Rachel Drayton.
He was a native of Jacksonville, Florida where he received his early education in local schools of Duval County and graduated from Stanton High School. Mr. Drayton was employed with Popeyes Chicken Franchise for years.
Gregory Drayton known as “Greedy Greg” was well known throughout Jacksonville. He was loved and respected by many. Greedy had a genuine spirit. He loved life and loved making people laugh. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his girls. Greedy left lasting impression on everyone he met greeting them with a “Shaahuuuuhh” and leaving them with “see ya later alligator”. As many would say Greedy was the realist “OG”; a Legend and his memory shall live on.
Gregory Drayton was preceded in death by his loving mother Rachel Drayton, father William Busch and his granddaughter Kamya Godwin. Mr. Drayton leaves to cherish, loving and dedicated children Terrie Holt, Gresham Hoskins (Steven), Princella Holt and Kimberly Drayton. Devoted siblings Lorietta McQueen, Arnold Drayton (Henrietta), Michael Drayton, Cynthia Samuels (Lonnie) and Alecia Drayton. Loving grandchildren James Kemp, Taeori Kemp, Shontia Holt, Teyonna Williams, Gregory Drayton, Janiah Williams, Johnathan Godwin, Steven Hoskins Jr., Rodeny Thorton Jr., Steven Hoskins 3rd, Carmen Adams, Princella Shuman, Kensi Drayton, (Debraca Wyche and Harry Wyche). 7 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, including close friends Deborah Holt-Davis and Mr. Buck.
