John Wesley Hagans Jr.

Brother John Wesley Hagans, Jr. (Pete) was born September 27, 1948 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Mr. John W. Hagans, Sr. and the late Mrs. Viola Hagans.

Mr. John graduated from William M. Raines High school in class of 1967. He then went on to retire from Northeast Florida Community Action Agency in 2013 after providing 26 years of dedicated service.

Brother John received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and became a faithful member of Greater Mount Vernon MBC, under the late Pastor G.T. Mcall.  Mr. John Hagans served on the adult Usher Board and sang in the gospel chorus.

Brother John leaves to cherish his legacy and memories to share, a devoted wife, Bettye Hagans: a loving aunt, Lillie Hagans Graham who resides in White Plains, NY; four daughters, Anita Jennings (Wilmur), Ethel Johnson, Maria Williams and Walicia Robinson; 2 sons, Wayne Norman (Deborah) and Wendle Norman (Latosha); 25 grandchildren; special cousins, Carolyn Williams (Bennie), Lillie Hagans, Carolyn Odom; God sister, Karen Johnson and a host of other family and friends.
